How to Take Bus 82 from Nice to Èze Village
The easiest way to travel from Nice to Èze Village is by Bus 82. The journey takes about 20 minutes, and a one-way ticket costs €1.70.
Although Bus 602 also stops at Èze Village, Bus 82 runs more frequently and is the most convenient choice for most visitors.
During my visit, I took Bus 82 from Bavastro bus stop, which is one of the main departure points for buses to Èze Village.
The photo below shows the official bus stop sign at Bavastro, where you can confirm that both Bus 82 and Bus 602 serve Èze Village.

I visited Èze Village in January, which is considered the off-season. Even so, around 20 people were already waiting for Bus 82 at Bavastro bus stop.
During the summer months, the queue is usually much longer, so arriving a little early is recommended.
If you also plan to visit Monaco, Bus 602 continues beyond Èze Village. However, because it operates less frequently than Bus 82, visiting Èze Village and Monaco on separate days is often a more comfortable option.

Bus 82 Return Timetable from Èze Village to Nice
Bus 82 from Èze Village to Nice operates less frequently than many visitors expect.
On weekdays, buses depart only about once every two hours, so it is important to check the timetable before you start sightseeing.
If you plan to spend around one to one and a half hours exploring Èze Village without stopping for a meal, you should decide in advance which return bus you want to take.

During the summer tourist season, buses can become very crowded. If the bus is full, you may have to wait for the next departure, which could be nearly two hours later.
To avoid unnecessary waiting, I recommend arriving at the bus stop at least 10 to 15 minutes before your planned departure.

Èze Village Botanical Garden Tickets, Entrance Fee & Toilets
The botanical garden offers one of the best panoramic views of Èze Village and the French Riviera. As of January 2026, the entrance fee was €10 per adult.

You can buy tickets either at the ticket machine on the way up to the village or directly at the botanical garden entrance. Credit cards are accepted.
If you need to use the restroom, public toilets are located on the path between the bus stop and Èze Village. The fee was €0.50, and cash payment was required during my visit.
