Are you looking for good cafes in Belgrade, Serbia, where you can work as a digital nomad?
I stayed in Belgrade for about one month in April 2024 and worked remotely during that time.
In this page, I will introduce three cafes that I used often and felt comfortable working in.
- Kafeterija Magazin 1907
- Coffeedream
- Single Origin
*Serbia is that smoking is often allowed inside, which may be uncomfortable for non-smokers.
If you know any other nice nomad-friendly cafes in Belgrade, I would be very happy if you could share them.

① Kafeterija Magazin 1907

Kafeterija is one of the most popular coffee chains in Serbia.
This location is a very large cafe with three open floors and a strong sense of space and openness.
When you order coffee here, you can choose from three different coffee bean grades. However, I personally could not clearly tell the difference between them.
Still, because the cafe is spacious and open, it is easy to focus on laptop work.
One thing to note is that the background music is lively, and smoking is allowed inside. This cafe is recommended for people who do not mind these points.

② Coffeedream

Coffedream is a popular coffee chain in Serbia.
It offers a wide variety of coffee drinks and parfaits, and most locations have spacious interiors with power outlets, making them very friendly for digital nomads.
Smoking is not allowed inside.
This location looks small from the outside, but it also has a basement floor, so the space is larger than it appears. The basement has a cozy, hidden atmosphere that makes it easy to focus on PC work.
Their café mocha is especially good, so I highly recommend trying it.

③ Single Origin

This Single Origin cafe is located about a three-minute walk from Saint Sava Temple, which is one of the most famous tourist spots in Belgrade.
The interior is modern, and the food menu is also well prepared.
There is a bus stop very close to the cafe, so it is easy to reach even from the city center of Belgrade.

Working in Cafes? Use a VPN for Secure WiFi

Free WiFi in cafes is convenient for digital nomads and travelers, but it is not secure.
Anyone can connect to the same network, which creates risks for your personal data.
When you use café WiFi without protection, the following problems can occur:
- Credit card and bank information can be stolen
- Login IDs and passwords for email, SNS, and cloud services may be leaked
- Online banking activity and account access can be monitored
- Emails, attachments, and private messages can be intercepted
- Stolen information may later cause unauthorized credit card charges
To reduce these risks, always use a VPN when working on café WiFi. A VPN encrypts your internet connection and protects your data from being seen or intercepted by others.
VPN apps are easy to install and simple to use. With just one tap, you can secure your connection and work safely in cafes anywhere in the world.
All three services come with a 30-day money-back guarantee, allowing you to test their speed, stability, and overall performance with confidence.
