1. August– A Quiet Laptop-Friendly Café in Vake

August is a popular bakery café chain with several locations across Tbilisi. If you’re looking for a quiet place to work with your laptop, I especially recommend the Vake branch.

The first floor is a bakery where you order drinks and pastries, while the second floor is a dedicated café space. Although it isn’t very large, it is usually quiet because most customers don’t stay for long.

I worked from this café several times and found it comfortable for remote work. The WiFi was stable, and there was enough space to use a laptop without feeling crowded.

If you visit, don’t miss the almond croissant. It was one of my favorite pastries in Tbilisi.

2. Coffee Lab (Paliashvili st) – Best for Evening Remote Work

Coffee Lab is one of the most popular specialty coffee chains in Tbilisi, with several locations across the city. The Paliashvili Street branch, which opened in 2024, is about a five-minute walk from August in the Vake district.

The café has a modern interior and is a popular workspace for students, freelancers, and remote workers. During the morning and afternoon, it can be difficult to find an available table because many people come here to work with their laptops.

From my experience, the best time to visit is after 6:00 PM. The café becomes much quieter in the evening, making it easier to find a seat and work comfortably for a few hours.

3. Café Mziuri – Best Park Café for Laptop Work

Café Mziuri is located inside Mziuri Park, making it one of the most relaxing cafés to work from in Tbilisi. The park attracts many visitors on sunny days, creating a pleasant atmosphere without feeling too busy.

Most people choose the outdoor terrace, so even when the café looks crowded from outside, it’s often easy to find a seat indoors. I found the indoor space quiet and comfortable for working with a laptop.

Another advantage is that the café stays open until 10:00 PM, making it a good choice if you need to work in the evening. During my visits, I never felt pressured to leave, even after staying for several hours with just one drink, which made it one of the most comfortable cafés for remote work.

The staff are friendly, and I always felt welcome during my visits. It’s the kind of café that makes you want to come back, not only for the coffee but also for its comfortable atmosphere.

One drawback is its location, which is a little less convenient than many of the cafés in this guide. It also closes relatively early at 7:00 PM, so it’s better suited to morning or afternoon work sessions than evening remote work.

If you prefer a peaceful café over a busy coworking-style environment, Kartli Joys is well worth visiting.

6. Stories Tbilisi Coffee & Tea– Best Café Near Liberty Square

Stories Tbilisi Coffee & Tea is located just a one-minute walk from Liberty Square, making it one of the most convenient cafés for remote work in the city center. The surrounding streets are filled with restaurants, hotels, and shops, attracting both tourists and locals throughout the day.

Many customers use laptops here, so working for a few hours feels completely natural. During my visits, I noticed that mornings were often busier with hotel guests, while the café became quieter in the afternoon and provided a more comfortable environment for focused work.

If you’re staying near Liberty Square or need a reliable café between sightseeing and work, this is one of the best laptop-friendly cafés in central Tbilisi.

7. Entree– Best Spacious Bakery Café for Remote Work

Entree is a popular bakery café chain with locations throughout Tbilisi. Among them, I especially recommend the branch just southwest of Liberty Square.

The highlight of this location is its spacious second-floor seating area. Compared with many cafés in the city center, it offers plenty of tables and a relaxed atmosphere, making it easy to work comfortably with a laptop for an extended period.

Although it’s a little farther from the main tourist area, the quieter location means fewer crowds and a more productive workspace. During my visits, I found it to be one of the most comfortable bakery cafés for remote work.

If you stop by, I also recommend trying the almond croissant. Like August, it’s one of my favorite bakery items in Tbilisi.

8. Stamba café – Best Stylish Hotel Café for Laptop Work

Located inside the famous Stamba Hotel, Stamba Café is one of the most stylish places to work in Tbilisi. You don’t need to be a hotel guest to use the café, making it an excellent option for anyone looking for a comfortable workspace.

The hotel features several dining areas, including a café, an Asian restaurant, and a Georgian restaurant. One thing to keep in mind is that the menu depends on where you sit. During my visit, I found that café drinks were only available in the café section near the espresso bar at the back of the building.

Despite being part of a luxury hotel, the prices are surprisingly reasonable. With its spacious interior, relaxed atmosphere, and long opening hours, Stamba Café is one of the best places in Tbilisi for working with a laptop.

9. Coffee Lab (Kazbegi Ave) – Best Coffee Lab for Morning Work

Coffee Lab on Kazbegi Avenue is one of the best locations in the chain for coffee lovers. Unlike many cafés in Tbilisi, the beans are roasted on-site, filling the café with the aroma of freshly roasted coffee.

The café has two floors and is popular with students, freelancers, and local residents, so it can become quite busy, especially after lunchtime. From my experience, the best time to visit is in the morning, when it’s much easier to find a table and work comfortably.

Compared with the Paliashvili Street branch, this location stays open later, until 11:00 PM, making it a good option if you need a workspace in the evening as well.

10. Puri Guliani – Best Café Restaurant for Remote Work

Puri Guliani is a stylish café restaurant located across the Kura River from central Tbilisi. Although it’s primarily known as a restaurant, I found the second floor to be surprisingly comfortable for working with a laptop.

The interior is spacious, modern, and spread across two floors, creating a relaxed atmosphere that’s ideal for longer work sessions. Since the restaurant is popular with both locals and tourists, it tends to become busier later in the day.

From my experience, the best time to visit is in the morning, when it’s much easier to find a quiet table and work without distractions.
