① August

August is a bakery café with several locations in Tbilisi. Among them, the branch in the Vake area is especially recommended.

At the Vake location, the first floor is the counter where you order bread and drinks, and the second floor is the café space.

The café area on the second floor is not very large, but it is usually quiet because there are not many people staying to work or sit for a long time.

By the way, the almond croissant is highly recommended.

② Coffee Lab｜Paliashvili st

Coffee Lab is a popular café chain with many locations in Tbilisi.

It also opened a branch in the Vake area in 2024. The location is very convenient, about a five-minute walk from the August café mentioned earlier.

The atmosphere is cool and modern.

However, in the morning and during the daytime, many digital nomads visit this café, so it can be hard to find a seat. The best time to go is in the evening.

It is open until 9:00 PM, and after 6:00 PM it becomes quieter and more comfortable to work.

③ Café Mziuri

Café Mziuri is located inside a park, and on sunny days it becomes very lively even on weekdays.

The terrace seats are more popular than the indoor seating, so even if it looks crowded from outside, you can often find empty seats inside.

The café is open until 10:00 PM, which makes it a good option for a night café.

Even if you stay for a long time with just one cappuccino, the staff do not mind and leave you alone in a good way.

Because of this relaxed atmosphere, it is a great place for digital nomad work.

④ Coffeeshop Company

This place feels more like a stylish café restaurant, with an atmosphere that makes you want to come for drinks in the evening.

The space is very large, with plenty of sofa seating. The drink menu is also extensive. There are many dessert-style drinks, similar to what you find at Starbucks.
*However, the prices are a bit high, and an additional 18 percent service charge is added.

That said, the service style is very hands-off in a very Georgian way. The staff do not pay much attention to customers, which actually makes it an easy and comfortable place to focus on laptop work.

⑤ Kartli Joys

This is a small and cozy café that feels quiet and comfortable, making it a perfect place for solo café time.

However, it closes relatively early in the evening, and the location is a bit inconvenient, so it is not a place you can visit very often.

Still, the staff are friendly, and it is the kind of café that makes you want to come back again and again.

⑥ Stories Tbilisi Coffee & Tea

This café is located just a one-minute walk from Liberty Square. The street where it is located is a stylish restaurant area that is always lively with tourists.

Most of the customers are travelers, and many people are working on their laptops, so it is a café well suited for digital nomad work.

Probably because there are many hotels nearby, you often see guests who look like they have just checked out of their hotels in the morning.

In the late afternoon, it becomes a calmer place where you can work comfortably as a digital nomad.

⑦ Entree

Entree is a bakery café chain with many locations across Tbilisi.

Among them, the branch located slightly southwest of Liberty Square, a bit away from the city center, is especially recommended.

This location has a large café space on the second floor, making it a good place for digital nomad work.

The only downside is that it is a little far from the main tourist area.

By the way, the almond croissant is highly recommended here as well.

⑧ Stamba café

This café is located inside Stamba Hotel, on the left side after you enter. You can use the café even if you are not staying at the hotel.

Stamba Hotel is known as a luxury hotel, but the café prices are reasonable.

Inside the Stamba café, there are several different areas, such as a café area, an Asian food area, and a Georgian food area. The menu you can order depends on where you sit.

For example, if you sit in the Asian food area, café drinks are not available.

If you want coffee, make sure to sit in the café area, which is located at the very back of the space near the counter with the espresso machine.

⑨ Coffee Lab｜Kazbegi Ave

This Coffee Lab location roasts its coffee beans inside the shop.

It is a two-story café in the Saburtalo area and is usually busy with many customers.

The number of customers increases especially after lunchtime, so visiting in the morning is a better option if you want a seat.

Unlike the Vake branch, this location is open until 11:00 PM, which is a nice advantage.

⑩ Puri Guliani

Finally, the last place I want to introduce is a café restaurant located on the opposite side of the Kura River, which runs through the center of Tbilisi.

It feels more like a restaurant than a café, but on the second floor there are seats that feel surprisingly suitable for laptop work, making it a good place for digital nomads.

The interior is stylish and spread across two floors. However, it is a popular restaurant, so visiting in the morning is recommended if you want a comfortable seat.
