Walking is possible, but a bus is more convenient. You can take one bus from a nearby bus stop and reach the station in about 20 minutes.

How to Buy Train Tickets Between Belgrade and Novi Sad

You can buy train tickets either at the ticket counter inside the station or through the official app Srbija Voz.

Depending on the time of day, the ticket counter can get very busy, so I recommend purchasing your tickets in advance using the app.

How to Buy Train Tickets Using the Srbija Voz App

First, install the Srbija Voz app.

To purchase tickets, you need to create an account and register your credit card details.

However, even without registration, you can still use the app to check train schedules and ticket prices between Belgrade and Novi Sad.

When you open the app, you will see a search screen like the one shown below.

Select the departure station “Beograd Centar” in the From field, and select the destination “Novi Sad” in the To field.

Then choose the date, number of passengers, and class. There are two class options: I and II.

  • Class I is a more comfortable seat.
  • Class II is comfortable enough for most travelers.

After selecting all options, click Timetable search.

A list of available trains for the selected date will be shown.

As of April 2024, the ticket prices were as follows:

  • Direct train: 583 RSD
  • Local train: 373 RSD

Click the URL included in the email to go to the login screen.

After that, return to the ticket selection screen and click Purchase a ticket to continue with the purchase.

Payment is made by credit card, so you need to enter your credit card details during the purchase process.

The local train that arrives in 57 minutes costs 373 RSD and does not have seat assignments.
